MOSCOW / RankWire.AI / – During the first six months of 2026, Russia’s exports of non-resource, non-energy industrial goods increased to $58.8 billion. This growth was largely driven by higher shipments of chemical products, metallurgy, and lightweight industrial items. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Minister Anton Alikhanov confirmed these trade results during briefings held on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. The trade volume positions the country on course to meet its annual goal of $116.95 billion in manufactured exports, which is a key part of Moscow’s broader non-energy trade target of $155.25 billion for this year.

Details from government trade planners show that mineral and chemical fertilizers led the growth in international markets. Additionally, shipments of precious metals, pharmaceutical products, perfumes, and specialized cosmetics also experienced positive trends. These exports helped expand Russia’s commercial presence into new markets across Asia, Eurasia, and the Middle East. Officials highlighted that regional export support centers operated by the ministry have been fully integrated into unified networks alongside the Russian Export Center to improve logistics for provincial manufacturers.

Russia Achieves $58.8 Billion Milestone in Non-Resource Industrial Exports

This mid-year trade report follows an 11% overall increase in non-resource non-energy exports during the previous year’s reporting cycle. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s government emphasized that national economic programs continue to focus on establishing Russia as a reliable supplier of advanced technological and industrial goods, despite ongoing international trade restrictions. Russia non-resource industrial exports reach $58.8 billion as federal trade agencies align national development goals with long-term investments in infrastructure and manufacturing sectors.

The 2026 Eastern Economic Forum, hosted at the Far Eastern Federal University under the theme of regional economic development, served as a platform to outline upcoming trade priorities. Minister Alikhanov reaffirmed that federal support programs are functioning within the set targets of the national development frameworks. Officials aim to increase total non-energy trade volumes by 66% over six years relative to 2023 benchmarks.

Enhanced Export Support Network Accelerates Outreach to Regional Businesses

Representatives from the trade ministry emphasized growing commercial exchanges with members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Eurasian Economic Union. Russia’s non-resource industrial exports hit $58.8 billion, while domestic online retail platforms continue expanding cross-border e-commerce activities within regional logistics hubs. The delivery of specialized equipment for healthcare and logistics infrastructure remains an emerging growth segment in bilateral commercial agreements.

Federal trade authorities and regional export support organizations plan to maintain ongoing monitoring of industrial shipping metrics through the second half of the year. Final export volume figures and sector-specific trade balance summaries will be compiled after the completion of fourth-quarter reporting periods. Official documents related to national export targets and trade infrastructure investments are available through government portals.
