The Mercedes‑Maybach S 580 e marks the beginning of a revolutionary era for the brand with a more than 100‑year heritage. Due to the vehicle’s electric range of up to 100 kilometers (WLTP)1 and an electric-drive output of 110 kW/150 horsepower, the luxury saloon is capable of traveling locally CO2 emission-free, both within cities and on interurban routes.

MercedesMaybach has been the benchmark for automotive luxury, style, and status since Wilhelm and Karl Maybach started building automobiles in 1921. The MercedesMaybach brand continues to redefine itself to exceed expectations to create “the very best of the very best.” The MercedesMaybach SClass has seen a steady increase in demand since its launch in 2021.

Silence is even more impressive in the MercedesMaybach S 580 e. When driving purely electric, the interior becomes even quieter. With zero local emissions, the saloon glides along almost silently. With the Maybach expertise, electric-specific features are discreetly integrated – such as the concealed charging socket on the left side of the vehicle and blue accents in the headlights.

An inline six-cylinder engine from the current MercedesBenz petrol engine generation provides 270 kW/367 hp of powerful performance with low fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Superior performance is assured by the combined system output of 375 kW/510 hp and maximum torque of 750 Nm.

The electric motor’s maximum torque of 440 Nm is available immediately upon engine startup, resulting in rapid acceleration and dynamic handling. There is a 5.1 second acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h for the MercedesMaybach S 580 e.

Three-phase charging from the AC mains is provided as standard with an 11 kW charger. As an option, a 60 kW DC charger is available for fast charging with direct current. With the latter, a full charge can be achieved in around 30 minutes, even when the battery is almost completely empty.
